Srinagar, Aug 09: National Conference Senior leader and State Executive Member Nazir Ahmad Baddana along with dozens of NC workers joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in presence of party State General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul in Srinagar on Thursday.
State General Secretary (Org) Sh. Ashok Kaul welcomed the new faces who have joined BJP and said we need more participation to to put a good show and result in solving the problems of the common people and to strengthen the party at ground level which party was lacking few years ago. Now people of the state are showing trust on BJP which is a
good sign for the party and provides an opportunity for developments and progress in the state.
They were welcomed into the party-fold by BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretary & incharge Kashmir (MLA) Sunil Sharma, State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, State Vice President (MLC) Sofi Yousif, MLC Surinder Ambardaar, MLC S Charanjeet Singh Khalsa, Chairperson Waqf Development Committee Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Ex –VC SICOP Dr. Ali Mohammad Mir
Nazir ahmad who Joined BJP, said he was impressed by the party functioning in the state at gross root level by serving the general public especially for rural and tribal areas, which compelled him to
join the party. “My aim is serving the common people in rural and tribal areas, and BJP is the better platform to fulfill my dream, where I can extended my cause to the down trodden,” he said.
Sunil Sharma said that the party is getting strengthened in entire kashmir and it is due to the works done by the Ministers in the previous PDP-BJP government.
Dr. Narinder Singh said that more and more people are getting associated with BJP ideology, which is requirement of the nation and its people. He said that be it booth level activists all have important role in nourishing the party.
